Hotel Concordia, Venice, San Marco

"Small and can be cramped, but this is the only hotel in Venice with views of Piazza San Marco"

This hotel has been accommodating Italian and foreign visitors to Venice for more than three centuries. The Beggiato family has been expertly running the hotel over three generations, adding its own tradition since the start of the 20th century when Mr. Tiberio Beggiato turned what was a small guesthouse into a renowned hotel. Ever since, the women of the Beggiato family have kept the family tradition alive, proficiently merging customs and innovation, tending to the premises as they tend to their homes.

The cosy and suggestive décor, the peace and quiet of a sound-proofed and air-conditioned building make the Hotel Concordia an elegant oasis of rest and relaxation in the beating heart of the ancient maritime republic. Inside the hotel, the guest breathes in the atmosphere of an age, distinguished by a subdued and dignified elegance.

The reception desk is situated on the first floor, a placement that avoids the inconveniences caused by Venice's seasonal (and characteristic) flooding. The hearty breakfast buffet is always brimming with fresh fruits and vegetables and delectable Venetian baked goods.

Fresh pasta is always made in the hotel restaurant and the menu features carefully-prepared and truly delicious dishes. Those lucky guests staying in our suites with terrace have the unique opportunity to enjoy a romantic and unforgettable dinner served out on the terrace, immersed in one of the most beautiful scenes in the world, St. Mark's Square and the spires of the Basilica. The kitchen can also cater for special needs with more personalised menus (such as vegetarian menus, children's menus, etc).
