The Riyad El Mezouar is a veritable jewel, with a gallery running around its four sides, a spacious patio lined with trees, a swimming pool, and traditional architecture preserved to a rare degree. Few riads have been conserved to this level, whilst incorporating modern comfort.
With a passion for decoration, the owner carefully created a marriage between traditional Eastern and contemporary decor. Traditional materials used include "tadelakt" in the bathrooms and original arcades and "bejmat". The artifacts and pieces of furniture represent various styles and eras from the Arab world, as well as souvenirs from travels worldwide.
